We saw a few lizards here and there
We only saw two snakes. This one was pretty big, maybe 6–7 feet. It's tentatively identified as some rat snake, Elaphe. The other snake that I saw was either a Brazilian coral snake or one of its mimics, but I wasn't quick enough to photograph it.
In some areas there were lots of termite mounds. In this one, they had opened up their ventilation slits and were busily tending them.
