Birding Brazil 2010 — Sharpbill, Cotingas, Manakins, Tityras

Sharpbill Oxyruncus cristatus 17 Oct 2010, Macaé do Cimo. Seeing a Sharpbill was a highlight of the trip, because it's an odd species whose relationship to other species has never been clear. It has traditionally been placed in its own family, but more recently it has been classified as a cotinga.
